What is IJMBE?
IJMBE-Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination is a post-secondary education program which had currently replaced the High School Certificate Examination (HSCE). This program is now serving as an advanced level of examination which assures students admission into 200 level.
The Institute of Education of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria was said to be the origin of IJMBE and other members of the board which include representatives of different educational institutions like the Joint Admission Matriculation Board; Federal University of Technology, Minna.
What is the Difference Between JUPEB and IJMB?
These two programs are being moderated by two different bodies; Ahmadu Bello University in charge of IJMB and they usually sit for examination every February yearly, while the University of Lagos is in charge of JUPEB and their examination is usually conducted every May/June yearly.
IJMB is far cheaper compared to JUPEB, Although these two programs offer university admission to the 200 level and also use a similar syllabus to teach their candidate.
