SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS IN NIGERIA

1. Prove of current education level or passed education level (Admission letters, certs, et.c)
2. National Identity Number
3. Recommendation later
4. Language Proficiency certificate(s) e.g TOEFL and IELTS
5. Reason of application.

In some cases, you maybe required to provide some additional documents which are not listed above while some will not even demand up to the ones listed above.

It solely depends on the foundation or organisation offering the scholarship. An educational organisation awarding scholarship may not demand same documents as a religious organisation awarding the same scholarship.

2. Avoid late application
3. Avoid submission of passport more than three months old

TO GET THE NATIONAL IDENTITY NUMBER(NIN)

Look for the nearest NIN office in your area and register. It is a free service but at times, it takes months for the result to be out. This means you should register for NIN on time in other to have your NIN BEFORE DEMAND.

ALSO, to get the TOEFL or IELTS certs you have to register and participate in the program (it is not free, you will pay).
