TOEFL AVAILABLE iBT TEST CENTERS

The TOEFL iBT (iBT -Internet Based Test) test is administered via the Internet, and the TOEFL PBT (PBT -Paper Based Test) test is administered in a paper-delivered format. The TOEFL iBT test measures reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. It is offered more than 50 times a year and is administered online at testing sites around the world. According to testden.com, the TOEFL IBT test takes about 4 hours to complete. At minimum, the TOEFL IBT will last 3 hours and 10 minutes. At maximum, it will take 4 hours and 20 minutes. The length varies because the Reading section can take from 60 to 100 minutes, and the Listening section ranges from 60 to 90 minutes.

HOW MANY QUESTIONS ARE BEING SET IN THE TOEFL EXAM?

You know the exam is featured in sections, there is the reading section, the writing section, the speaking section and the listening section. Below is a breakdown of what you should expect in any of the sections.

Writing Section -> 50mins – two tasks
Speaking Section -> 20mins – two tasks

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE TOEFL RESULT?

Printed score reports are mailed approximately 13 days after your test date. You should allow 7–10 days after that date for mail delivery in the United States, and more time for mail delivery to other locations.

Your TOEFL result will be printed officially by the exam organizers and emailed to you to your preferred location.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I TAKE THE TOEFL EXAM?

The TOEFL test has more test dates (over 50 per year) and locations than any other English-language test in the world. You can retake the test as many times as you wish, but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-day period.

NOTE: For TOEFL candidates in Nigeria, you are required to present a valid international passport at the test venue before you will be allowed into the test hall.
