10, 000 CANDIDATES MAY NOT GET JAMB RESULT

The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board says more than 10,000 candidates caught for examination malpractices in the on-going UTME in Anambra have been handed over to the appropriate authority.

The Coordinator of the board in Anambra, Mrs Lynda Nwachukwu, disclosed on Saturday that the all computer-based testing mode 2017 UTME, which started on May 13 in 642 centres nationwide, ended on May 20.

Nwachukwu said that the examination, which took place in 28 centres in the state, was successful.

The defaulting candidates who were caught for examination malpractice may not get JAMB result for the 2017 jamb exam and may also be penalized not participate in 2018 jamb exercise.

The 10, 000 candidates in question here are just from the ones who wrote in Anambra state and not the total number of defaulters caught all over the country.

More people probably would be caught in other states and they will face what ever these 10,000 already caught would face.

The CCTV which was installed in all the JAMB centers which some of the jambites did not even notice that it was in their jamb hall has effectively been used to fish out a number of students who participated in one exam malpractice offence or the other but were not caught directly in the exam hall.
